FAQ
❓ How do I send in my film?
After placing your order, you'll receive detailed instructions, including our shipping address. You can use your own label, or select a prepaid label at checkout (when available). Please use a bubble mailer and include your order number in the package.
❓ Do you return my negatives?
Yes! Your negatives are returned via USPS First-Class Mail with tracking. Return shipping is included in the price of your order.
❓ What film types do you accept?
We currently process 35mm and 120 color negative film (C-41 only). We do not process black & white or slide (E-6) film at this time.
❓ What resolution are the scans?
Scans are typically up to ~20 megapixels, depending on the film format and frame size. That's more than enough for high-quality prints and digital use.
❓ What format are the scans?
You can choose between JPEG or TIFF scans when placing your order.
❓ How do I receive my scans?
Your scans will be delivered digitally via Google Drive or WeTransfer. You'll receive a download link by email once your order is ready.
❓ What’s the turnaround time?
Our standard turnaround is 3–5 business days from when we receive your film. This may vary slightly during holidays or high-volume periods.
❓ Do you cut my negatives?
Yes. We cut negatives to fit into our return envelopes unless you specifically request otherwise. This helps keep shipping costs low and ensures your film arrives safely.
❓ Do you offer push/pull processing?
Yes! Push or pull processing (+1 or +2 stops) is available as an optional add-on when placing your order. An additional fee applies and is listed on the product page.
❓ What if my film comes back blank?
If we receive a blank roll, we’ll let you know. Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for blank rolls as we still perform the full development process to verify them.
❓ Can I request a rescan?
Rescans are only offered in cases of clear technical error (e.g., missing frames or incorrect format) and only if your negatives are still in our possession. Rescans must be requested within 7 days of receiving your scans and are subject to approval.
❓ Do you ship internationally?
Not yet! We currently only accept orders from within the United States and Puerto Rico.
